Tinnitus
What is Tinnitus?
Tinnitus can be described as noises in the ears that no one else hears because they are not coming from an external source.
These sounds can be:
- ringing
- humming
- shrieking
- roaring
- swooshing
- whistling
- chirping
- music
- whooshing
- buzzing
Why does this happen?
The cause of Tinnitus is not the same for everyone. It could be age, noise induced, wax induced, or from other health conditions just to name a few. When your brain has difficulty connecting sound from your ears, it starts to fill in the space by creating sounds for your brain.
